Home/School Connection and Other At-Home Activities for each Investigation

We have developed a Home/School Connection for four investigations in Structures of Life. There are also other At-Home Activities for each investigation for use during COVID-19 school year 2020-21. These require little or no materials from home.

  • Investigation 1: Origin of Seeds
Home School Connection—Students are encouraged to search for seeds around their home and neighborhood. They compare the structures of the seeds they have found and try to figure out how each seed might travel away from the parent plant to a growing location.
