Narcissus Flowers

Narcissus flowers open in the Spring with daffodils. When the flower bud is ready, the bud bends and the flower opens up. The flowers will attract insects to visit for their pollen and nectar. The insects bring pollen from other flowers, which fertilize the narcissus plant and help new seeds grow. After the flowers die off, new seeds will be growing for next year's plants. This short movie was filmed over five days, taking one picture every hour.
