Once the installation is complete, return to the FOSS Populations and Ecosystems multimedia and click Check Browser to make sure your browser has all the necessary plug-ins.
Click the link below to download the installer for latest version of the Flash Player plug-in over an Internet connection. This takes about 10 minutes over a dial-up connection. Then install the Flash Player plug-in in the browser you wish to use.

An installer for the Flash Player 6 plug-in is in the Installers folder on the FOSS Populations and Ecosystems CD-ROM. Double-click the installer icon to begin.
Macintosh. Double-click the FOSS_PE icon on your desktop. In the main window, open the Installers folder, then the Flash 6 for Mac folder. Open the folder with the installer for your computer's operating system, and double-click the installer icon. Be sure to install the plug-in in the browser you wish to use.
PC. Double-click My Computer. Right-click on the CD-ROM drive where FOSS_PE is located. Choose Explore from the menu. Open the Installers folder. Open the Flash 6 for PC folder. Choose the installer appropriate for the browser you wish to use, and double-click on the installer icon to start the installation.
