Star maps show the locations of stars, constellations, planets and other objects in space. Choose the star map for the months you need. Take the map outside on a clear night. Help your student locate the Big Dipper and the North Star. Hold the map overhead and turn it to match the location of the Big Dipper and North Star. Then use the map to find some of the other constellations.
