Phases of the Moon Simulation

It can be difficult to keep track of what the Moon is doing. It seems like every time you see the Moon, it's a different shape, or phase. Not only that, it's never in the same place at the same time for 2 days running.

The Phases of the Moon simulation lets you view the action in fast forward. It gives you two interlocked views of the Moon as it goes through its phases. One view is the Moon rising and setting over a pasture in the Northern Hemisphere - maybe in Wyoming. The other view is from space, above the North Pole, looking down on the Earth/Moon system.

You can control how you view the movement and phase changes of the Moon.
