This oblique view of Schroeter's Valley and the crater Aristarchus was photographed from Apollo 15 Command/Service Module in lunar orbit. Schroeter's Valley, the largest known sinuous rille on the Moon is about 160 km long and up to 11 km wide and 1 km deep.
