This Apollo 10 view is centered on Hyginus Crater, near the northeast margin of Central Bay. From the crater the prominent Hyginus Rille extends east-southeast toward the camera and northwest toward the Sea of Vapors. The rille is about 3 km wide and more than 200 km long. The horizon is not visible because the sunrise terminator is between the spacecraft and the horizon.
