FOSS Science Notebooks
Science notebooks are an important tool that helps students make sense of their science investigations and experiences. Like real scientists, students organize and record data and observations in a meaningful way. They reflect on their work to construct concepts and draw conclusions. By writing their explanations, students clarify what they know… and expose what they don’t know. The FOSS Science Notebook folio helps teachers introduce, set up, organize, and assess student notebooks.
