California Science Framework

The standards-based 2004 Science Framework for California Public Schools, Kindergarten Through Grade Twelve is available as a free download or the printed version can be purchased from the CDE Educational Resource Catalog.


Science Content Standards

The California content standards were designed to encourage the highest achievement of every student, by defining the knowledge, concepts, and skills that students should acquire at each grade level. You can view State Board of Education adopted standards here.

CABAP is part of the 26-state Building a Presence network coordinated and supported by the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA). CABAP provides resources and information that support more and better K-12 science education for all California students.
