Teacher Guide Errata
Some printings may contain the following errors.
Investigation 1, Part 3
Page 71, Materials
For station 2, there is only one spring toy in the kit, so this should read: 1 Spring toy.
Page 72, Step 3, Third sentence of first paragraph
This sentence should read: Set up two of Stations 1, 3, and 5, and set up one of Station 2.
Page 72, Step 3, Bullet 2, Station 2
This should read: Station 2: Spring Toy. Place the spring toy in a basin. If you have eight collaborative groups, two groups will work at Station 2 at the same time.
Page 72, Snapshots in side bar
The four teacher sheets shown in the sidebar are from part 1 (not part 3). The sheets that should be shown are nos. 12-15 (teacher guide pages 262-265).
Teacher Answer Sheet No. 1, Page 275
The answer key under the "Station 1: Solar Cell," says that the solar cell is the source of the energy. It should say LIGHT OR SUN.
