YELLOW FAWN LILY

The yellow fawn lily grows in the mountains of western North America. It is often the first flower to appear as the snow melts from the tundra.

NATURAL HISTORYYellow fawn lilies are known as glacier lilies in some places, because they grow high in the mountains. They are herbaceous perennials, regrowing from a bulb each year. They are one of the first flowers to emerge in the spring. Member of the lily family.
